Raw material through to final inspection, laid out so a part never has to leave the group to get finished.

Raw material storage
Certified wire rod coils in 1010, 1018, 15B25, 16MnCr5 and SS316, checked on incoming inspection before they reach the floor.

Cold forging
Multi station nut formers and part formers develop complex items through the cold forging route.

Tool room and EDM
The in-house tool room turns tooling for routine and new development items around quickly: lathe machines, tool and cutter grinding, and EDM.

CNC section
CNC turning centres hold close tolerances on critical items, backed by VMC and band saw machines.

Secondary operations
Tapping and threading set-up, shot blasting, friction press and metal fibre laser marking.

Surface treatment
Zinc flake coating, blackening, zinc plating and pre-applied treatments, none of it leaving the group.
Calibrated, and used every day
The lab exists so defects get caught here rather than on your line. Every instrument is calibrated and the result goes on the batch record, which is why the report that ships with a batch is ours and not a third party’s.

Salt spray chamber
PrestoCorrosion testing to ASTM B117. Coated parts run to red rust so the hours on the report are ours, not a supplier's.

Coating thickness
FischerFischer machine, DFT meter and XRF, for plated and zinc flake layers on threads and flats alike.

Profile projector
Optical form, thread profile and radius checks against the drawing, with air gauging alongside.

Hardness and SRF
RockwellRockwell hardness tester and SRF machine, run on every heat treated and formed batch.

Torque testing
SysconTorque and tension on assembled fasteners, which is what a pre-applied or coated thread is finally judged on.

Gauges
BakerRing gauge, pluge gauge, Baker make, vernier and micrometre, with the graticule reader, for dimensional work.
Reports issued with the batch, not on request.
Audit us before you buy
Vendor onboarding usually means a plant visit and a document pack. Both are easy to arrange, and we would rather you came than took our word for it.
